Background: A steel frame system becomes structurally less efficient when subjected to large lateral loads such as a strong wind, earthquake. Many research efforts have been made develop more structural systems with better resistance against loads. Methods: An attempt is in this direction by both analytical and experimental studies. bare framed model of size 4m x4m chosen for G+2 storey columns height 4m. The particular scaled down 1:11 scale perform shake table test seismic zone-V terms modal frequencies. Same modelled Hypermesh software & analysis done Nastran ETABS software’s. results obtained can be applied 16 X 16m G+9 Multi-storeyed commercial complex structure analysed Base shear, response spectrum pushover assess the performance structure. Findings: Prototype model, models showed approximately same values frequencies 10- 12% which an allowable percentage. Novelty: shows that base point are safer limits. overall was found safe between operational collapse stage.
